Wow, what was that last night in Miami? It’s wasn’t a surprise that Boston won; but the margin of victory was shocking to me. The Celtics broke out on top and never looked back in destroying the Heat 127-102 and completely changing the complexion of that series. Tonight, Dallas will attempt to bury a pitiful Game 1 performance and look to play better against the big, bad Warriors. It’s about time we have a close game instead of all these blowouts.

We missed our Best Bet last night as we had Miami over Boston and that sure as Hell didn’t happen. Our Best Bet of the Day record now stands at 99-50 in 2022.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET OF THE DAY* Dallas at Golden State (-6): Golden State leads the series 1-0: After the thrashing that the Mavericks took in Game 1, there isn’t anything to feel good about. They were dominated in every phase of the game. Offensively, they shot only 36% from the field and shot 48 3-pointers, making only 11. Luka Doncic and Jalen Brunson shot a combined 12 for 34 and were only 3 of 15 from the 3-point line. Defensively, they allowed Golden State to shoot 56% and were outrebounded 51-35. So, this was a game to just throw away and come out firing in Game 2. Doncic was due for an average game, and he is not likely to play as poorly tonight, and the Mavs have shown the ability to bounce back after subpar performances. As bad as Dallas was, Golden State was just as good. They were as good as it gets, and when they can win by 25 points and only make 11 3-pointers, that is an impressive win. They took it to Dallas and look for more of the same tonight. Seven Warriors scored in double figures and they look hard to beat. I expect Dallas to play much better tonight and make a game of this one. The line is a little bit dangerous as 6 is a high number to cover.
