Free NBA Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 4/6/22

With a full schedule of games last night, it was bound to be a wild night and it did have some crazy results. But, with teams jockeying for playoff position, it is bound to happen.

We cashed another Best Bet as Toronto stayed hot and knocked off the Hawks 118-108. That win for the Raptors combined with a Chicago loss moved Toronto into the 5th spot in the Eastern conference playoffs. It also improved our Best Bet of the Day record to 66-32 since Jan. 1st.

We were an average 8-4 betting the MoneyLine, and our overall record now stands at 401-205 for 2022.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

PLAYOFF STANDINGS AS OF 4/4/22:

#1 Miami 52-28- They need one more win to clinch the best record in the East and the #1 seed.
#2 Boston 49-30- They are battling for the Atlantic division lead with the 76ers and a #2 seed.
#3. Milwaukee 49-30- The Bucks are champions of the Central division and are currently the #3 seed.
#4. Philadelphia 49-30- The Sixers and Celtics are in a battle for the Atlantic division lead.
#5. Toronto 46-33- Toronto is currently the #5 seed and with that win last night they will avoid the Play-In games.
#6 Chicago 45-34- The Bulls will avoid the Play-In games and can still finish as high as 5th.
#7. Cleveland 43-37- Cleveland’s loss to the Magic last night dropped them to the Play-In tournament.
#8 Atlanta 41-38- The Hawks are jockeying for a home game in the Play-In tournament.
#9. Brooklyn 41-38- The Nets are trying for a home game in the Play-In tournament.
#10 Charlotte 40-39- Just trying to improve their playoff position.

WESTERN CONFERENCE:

PLAYOFF STANDINGS AS OF 4/4/22

#1 Phoenix 63-16- They have clinched the #1 seed in the Western conference playoffs.
#2 Memphis 55-24- The Grizzlies will be the #2 seed.
#3. Golden State 50-29- The Warriors are currently the #3 seed but they could fall to 4th.
#4. Dallas 49-30- The Mavs sit at #4 and should finish no worse than there. They still could be a 3.
#5. Utah 47-32- The Jazz moved up to 5th after last night and also will avoid a Play-In game..
#6. Denver 47-33- They got blown out at home last night to the Spurs and they still could be a Play-In team.
#7. Minnesota 45-35- The T-Wolves had a bad loss to the Wizards last night and they look like a Play-In team.
#8. LA Clippers 39-40- They will be the #8 seed.
#9. New Orleans 35-44- The Pelicans are fighting for a home game against the Spurs.
#10 San Antonio 34-45- The Spurs win in denver eliminated the Lakers last night. They will play the Pelicans in a Play-In game.

Papa Dudes Best Bets for the NBA Today

Washington 35-44 at Atlanta 41-38 (-11): Both teams are coming off of games last night. The Wizards beat the T-Wolves and are playing solid basketball down the stretch. Meanwhile, the Hawks lost a hard-fought game to the Raptors in Toronto. This is a much bigger game for Atlanta as they are battling for a home game in the Play-In round of the playoffs. I think they are going to win, but the Wizards are in good form and 11 points is a bunch to cover. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Washington + 11

*PAPA DUDES UPSET SPECIAL* Oklahoma City 24-55 at Utah 47-32 (-17): The Thunder have been showing a lot of spunk in the final days of the regular season and have managed to win a couple of games. They come into Utah and take on the Jazz, who are coming off a big overtime win over Memphis last night. It is not a stretch to see a letdown for Utah in this one. I see no way they lose this game, but 17 points is a very big margin to cover, on the 2nd game of a back-to-back. PAPA DUDES UPSET PICK: Oklahoma City +17
