Free NHL Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 3/31/22

We had our 5th straight night of positive betting on the NHL. Let’s try and keep it up.

We cashed our Best Bet, but it was sketchy for most of the game, until the Rangers finally scored in overtime to beat the stubborn Red Wings 5-4. That raised our Best Bet of the Day record to 26-19 since the All-Star Break.

The Upset Special just missed as Buffalo couldn’t quite beat the Jets, losing in a shootout 3-2.

We went 5-1 betting the MoneyLine, and our overall record is now 187-108 since the All-Star break.

And, finally, we cashed a parlay with a $10 Bet having a Payout of $66.98. That helps the bankroll for sure.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET OF THE DAY* Pittsburgh at Minnesota: The is the game of the night between two playoff teams. The Penguins have been struggling a bit, as they have lost 3 of their last 4 heading into Minnesota. They lost a tough one at home to the Rangers 3-2, in their last outing so they are going to be ready to play. On the other hand, the Wild have won 7 straight and they are quietly becoming a team you don’t want to play in the upcoming playoffs. This should be a classic and I’m going to play the law of averages and figure it’s time the Wild take a loss. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Bet the MoneyLine on Pittsburgh +100

*PAPA DUDES UPSET SPECIAL* Dallas at Anaheim: I will admit I’m reaching here but it’s the best chance at an upset on the card tonight in my opinion. The Stars have been playing well and they beat the Ducks 3-2 a couple of nights ago. They are fighting for a playoff spot and they are the desperate team here. On the other hand, Anaheim has lost its’ last 10 games and they have been terrible for the last two months. So, why am I even thinking about picking them? Because everybody has to win sometime and I want Dallas to lose as that benefits my Blues. Don’t bet much. PAPA DUDES UPSET PICK: Bet the MoneyLine on Anaheim +145

Los Angeles at Calgary: The Kings lost a tough one last night in Edmonton, falling in overtime 4-3. This is a difficult back-to-back, and going into Calgary is never good, no matter when you go to that building. The Flames are playing solid hockey and they will be the rested team. LA is battling for the postseason in the crowded Western conference, and they need any win they can get and I would like to pick them. But, they will probably play their back-up goaltender and Calgary will have the fresher legs. PAPA DUDES PICK: Calgary
