Free NHL Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 3/22/22

Maybe the NCAA Tournament was the problem for my poor showing with my NHL predictions. Last night, with no tournament action, I had a perfect night of betting hockey. Of course there were only 4 games; but the Hell with it, I got all four of them correct.

Our Best Bet cashed, even though it took overtime, before the Avalanche outlasted the Oilers 3-2. That raised our Best Bet of the Day record to 20-16 since the All-Star Break.

We went 4-0 betting the MoneyLine which got us back on track and raised our record to 136-89 since the All-Star break.

There are 11 games on the schedule tonight and I don’t have the tournament as an excuse for the the next 2 days. Let’s keep up the momentum.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET OF THE DAY* Edmonton at Dallas: The Oilers played a great game on the road last night, losing in overtime to the Colorado Avalanche. They have to turn around tonight and take on the Stars, in a game that has playoff ramifications written all over it. Dallas is playing well and will be rested and ready for the Oilers. Tampa Bay at Carolina: This is the game of the night in the NHL. Both teams will be among the favorites in the upcoming Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Lightning come into Carolina on a down streak losing 4 of the last 6. They will try and regroup and break out of this tonight against the struggling Canes. Carolina has lost their last 4 games and they are more desperate for a win than Tampa Bay. Should be a great one to watch. When in doubt, go with the home team. *PAPA DUDES UPSET SPECIAL* Nashville at Los Angeles: The Predators played last night in Anaheim, and won, getting a three-game West coast road trip off on the right foot. They are scoring goals as well as anyone and they are a dangerous team to watch with the playoffs coming soon. Meanwhile the Kings, are up and down through the past 6 games, and need to get on a winning streak to secure a postseason spot in the competitive Pacific. LA is favored in this one but I think it is worth a few bucks to throw at the Preds. PAPA DUDES UPSET PICK: Bet the MoneyLine on Nashville +105

Vegas at Winnipeg: The Knights have lost 6 out of 8 and were shut out last night in Minnesota. They are clearly struggling to win games. Meanwhile, the Jets are still in the playoff picture and need every win they can get. This is a game that can go either way, but I’m sticking with the Jets to get a big win.
