Free NCAA College Basketball Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays For 3/2/22

March Madness has begun as we enter day 2 of this crazy month in the college basketball world. Conference tournament action is upon us and the regular season is coming down to the final weekend. There are so many conferences that no one can predict the champion with any confidence. This is shaping up as one of the best Marches ever.

Yesterday, Providence and Villanova didn’t disappoint, as they played a nail-biter that went down to the wire, before the Wildcats prevailed 76-74. Somehow, the oddsmakers had that spread at 9.5 for Nova, and I took Providence to beat the spread as my Best Bet. Every once in awhile Vegas tosses you a bone. My Best Bet of the Day record is now 44-28 since Jan.1st.

We placed 16 bets on the MoneyLine and ended up going 13-3. Our record now stands at 563-124 (82%) for 2022.

There were nine games involving Top-25 teams and we went 6-3 picking winners and 7-2 betting the spread. Our record climbs to 89-66 betting the spread on Top-25 games.

Papa Dudes Best Bet for College Basketball Today

Xavier 17-11 at St.John’s 15-13 (-2): The Musketeers come into this one fighting for their tournament lives. This is do-or-die for them if they lose forcing them to win the Big East Conference tournament to get in. St.John’s is decent, especially at home, but I’m going to take a shot on Xavier to pull through and get that huge win. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Xavier +2

GAMES INVOLVING TOP-25 TEAMS:

Texas A&M 18-11 at #25 Alabama 19-10 (-10): The Crimson Tide has been playing well the last few games, and this is a game they should win, especially at home. But, Texas A&M has won their last two games and will be a handful. I think Alabama wins, but fails to cover. PAPA DUDES PICK: Texas A&M +10

#5 Auburn 25-4 (-3.5) at Mississippi State 17-12: Auburn has been awful on the road as of late losing at Arkansas, Florida, and Tennessee. They also barely eked out wins against bottom feeders, Georgia and Missouri. So, they obviously can’t be trusted in this game. Mississippi State plays hard and they are a physical, tough defensive team that can be a handful for anyone. Auburn needs a win as they are too good to be playing the way they are. I’m going to stick with them one more time. PAPA DUDES PICK: Auburn -3.5

LSU 20-9 at #14 Arkansas 23-6 (-5.5): The Razorbacks are playing as well as anyone in the SEC at the moment and have a legitimate shot at a No.1 seed in the upcoming conference tournament. But, this is a game where they could lose if they aren’t totally tuned in. LSU plays great defense and has the capability to keep the game close and will have a chance to win if the Hogs slip up. Still, the game is in Fayetteville and the place will be packed with Arkansas crazies and I’m playing the Pigs. PAPA DUDES PICK: Arkansas -5.5

#18 UConn 21-7 (-4) at Creighton 19-9: This is a critical game for the Bluejays. If they can get a win in this one that should make them a lock for the NCAA Tournament. The Huskies are a formidable foe and have deserve to be the favorite, but Creighton is tough at home and I like them in this spot. PAPA DUDES PICK: Creighton +4
