Free NBA Picks: NBA Best Bets and Money Line Selections for 1/28/22

There were only two games on the schedule last night in the NBA and we cashed on both of them making it a very profitable night.

Our Best Bet was Philadelphia to cover 2.5 over the Lakers and they easily accomplished that with a 105-87 victory. It always helps when LeBron James doesn’t play and you bet against the Lakers. Our Best Bet of the Day record continues to soar after our horrible start and we now sit at 19-15 going into tonight’s slate.

We bet the Money Line on both games and hit them, both. Our season record is now 96-47 for the year.

There are eleven games on the schedule tonight, so vacation is over, and it is time to delve into what will certainly be a challenging night of handicapping.

Papa Dudes Best Bets for the NBA Today

Utah 30-18 at Memphis 33-17 (-3.5): The Jazz are mired in a slump that has seen them lose 3 straight and 9 out of their last 11 games. The task doesn’t get any easier, as they take on the Grizzlies tonight in Memphis. They will be without Rudy Gobert ,for sure, and possibly leading scorer Donovan Mitchell. After reeling off 11 wins in a row, Memphis has cooled off some, splitting their last six outings. But the last four of those games were on the road, and they are back home tonight, in front of the home crowd where they have a 17-9 record. Not only will they have the home court advantage, but they also are healthy. The Jazz need a win and they will bring a good effort but I’m taking the Grizzlies to cover.

PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Memphis -3.5

LA Clippers 25-25 at Miami 31-17 (-6.5): The Clippers have pulled off 3 straight comebacks in their last three wins and are riding some momentum. But, one of those wins came against an Orlando Magic team, that they had no business being behind in the first place. Tonight, they are going up against the Heat, which is an entirely different animal. They have won eight out of their last ten and are the best team in the East. In addition, they are 17-5 at home. If they are ready to play, and if they don’t decide to rest Jimmy Butler, they should win this one and cover.
