This is the showcase game of the week in the NFL. It features two teams with offenses that have superstars all over the field. The Cowboys are a lock to win the NFC East unless there is a collapse of mass proportions. On the other hand, Kansas City is beginning to show their strength, and a win in this one will give them a huge boost to claiming the AFC West. Let’s look at the stats.

TOTAL TEAM POINTS:

Dallas: 26.5 Total Team Points All logic points to Dallas being able to score points against the Chiefs. They have weapons at all the skill positions and can run and throw the ball equally well. I think this is a game where they are going to be ready to play and prove that they are an elite team. I do t think the Kansas City defense is improving with each game and will be a factor. I’m torn on this line and I’m reluctantly taking UNDER 26.5 team points.

Kansas City: 29.5 Total Team Points The Chiefs offense got rolling last week and put up 41 against Las Vegas, which is more aligned to what people think of the Chiefs. The Dallas defense is better than they are given credit for and they are going to play well. I like Kansas City UNDER 29.5 points.

OVER/UNDER: 56 Total Combined Team Points How many times do these anticipated shootout games fail to materialize? I think there will be plenty of points scored, but I think the defenses will play well. I will take the UNDER 56 combined team points.

POINT SPREAD: Kansas City is a 2.5-point favorite Obviously, Vegas still has a high regard for the Chiefs and their home field. Or, maybe they don’t believe in the Cowboys and their ability to win these kinds of big wins.
