Los Angeles Dodgers
The two best teams in baseball finish off their four game series Thursday as the LA Dodgers host the San Francisco Giants. The Giants lead the NL West, and the Majors, at 60-35, while the Dodgers are 59-38. The Dodgers start their ace Walker Buehler (10-1), while the Giants counter with their ace, Anthony DeSclafani (10-4). This should be a good one.
Giants score come-from-behind winThe Giants have the best record in the Majors at 60-35, and they are 2 games ahead of the Dodgers. Jose Alvarez got the win in relief. Mike Yastrzemski also hit a home run.
Anthony DeSclafani takes the mound on Thursday in the series finale. DeSclafani, a righthander, is 10-4 on the season with n ERA of 2.78. DeSclafani pitched well in his last outing, but suffered a 3-1 loss to the Cardinals. DeSclafani allowed 3 runs on 5 hits in 6 innings, giving up 2 home runs. The Giants are second in team ERA in baseball and first in team WHIP.

The Dodgers blew a 2-1 lead in the 9th, spoiling a good start by Julio Urias. Kenley Jensen suffered the loss in relief. Chris Taylor led the Dodgers with 2 hits including a home run. Walker Buehler gets the start for the Dodgers on Thursday. Buehler has been lights out this season with a record of 10-1 and an ERA of 2.37. This should be a great one. Two of the best pitchers in the league in Buehler and DeSclafani, representing two of the best pitching staffs in the league, going up against two of the best offenses in the league -- all with the best record in baseball on the line. It doesn't get better than this. Ultimately, I'm taking the Dodgers, who are playing at home and have the better of the two pitchers in Buehler. Plus, the Giants have struggled against the Dodgers, as they are 4-9 in the last 13 meetings against them. Expect a low-scoring nail biter in this series finale, but take the Dodgers at home with Buehler.
