Racing Dudes Weekly Football Tip Sheet

While horses may be our thing, we are sports fans through and through and always looking for a great betting opportunity. What better than having a bet down on a game while betting the ponies? Beginning this weekend we will take a look over all college and NFL football games and give you our top plays. We’ve even employed resident sports gambling degenerate Austin Elsey to help us out.

Austin Elsey

NCAAF: Georgia -6.5: Not my most exciting team in the SEC East, but Mizzou still lags behind the rest of the SEC.

NCAAF: THE Ohio St -1: I’m sure Aaron and Jared love this pick from me being Boomer Sooner fans but Oklahoma’s championship dreams end this weekend.

NFL: Oakland -4.5: With the bitter taste of puke in the back of my mouth, this Chiefs fan does like the Raiders to cover this week.

NFL: Green Bay -2: Rodgers still has all his weapons and MN has a QB decision to make.

NFL: Philadelphia +3: Dogs are statistically the way to go in the NFL as of recent years. Not sure why Philly isn’t getting love in this game, Wentz kept a pretty cool head in Week 1 and the Bears still have Cutler.

“I always put my money where my mouth is and these lines represent my current plays this week. Lines may have changed since my selections were made.”

Aaron Halterman

NCAAF: Oregon +3: I’m not buying into Nebraska just yet, and believe Oregon could definitely expose them with their high powered offense.

NCAAF: Oklahoma State -4.5: The Cowboys will bounce back this week after playing about as bad as they could play last week in a loss to Central Michigan. Expecting an inspired performance.

NCAAF: Auburn -160 ML: They played the defending National Champions within six points on opening weekend and now get a Texas A&M team that still has some proving to do. Hopefully the Auburn offense wakes up some in this one.

NCAAF: Oklahoma +110 ML: Oklahoma is a home underdog for the first time since 2000. Under Bob Stoops they have been home underdogs only twice, and have won both of those games by double digits.

NFL: Pittsburgh -175 ML: Too scared to go against the spread of -3.5 because I think this will be close, but the Steelers will prevail in the end.

“Good luck this weekend in both the horses and football!”

Jared Welch

NCAAF: Georgia -6.5: Might be the best team in the SEC East and Mizzou certainly is the worst. Give up the points and enjoy. Won’t be close.

NFL: Pittsburgh -175 ML: While I do think this game could be competitive given this bitter AFC North rivalry, the Steelers offense is just too good and the Bengals have no chance of covering Antonio Brown.

NFL: New Orleans +180 ML: In a game that should be an absolute shootout (53.5 Total) I look for the Saints to rebound off the tough loss last week. Brees is 5-1 in his career against the Giants and in his last four against them is averaging nearly 400 passing yards and has totaled 16 TDs!

NFL: Jacksonville +3: The Jags are a sneaky good team and the Packers found that out last week. The Chargers are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games at home and coming off an embarrassing week 1 collapse against the Chiefs where they lost Keenan Allen for the season. Jags are hungry and will rebound off that close loss last week.

NFL: Green Bay -140 ML: Last week I got the Packers at -180 and enjoyed that all the way to the bank. This week we get them at an even better price! This is the best team in the NFC and will show their class over the Vikes in what should be an awesome atmosphere at the new Vikings stadium on Sunday Night Football.

“I know the leagues, I know the teams, I know the players, I know this wonderful game called football. Let’s make some money.”
