Analysis: There is no denying him now! Nyquist has stamped himself as the Kentucky Derby favorite with a blow out win in the much hyped Grade 1 Florida Derby. The biggest question was the mile and one eighth distance, and he handled the situation quite well. He did drift out in the stretch and finished on his wrong lead, but that could have been boredom from lack of competition. He’s going to most likely turn for home with the lead in the Kentucky Derby…can anyone catch him?
