Racing Dudes Divisional Rankings 10/6/15

Sprinters

1. Private Zone – No other horse in American is as consistent as this guy! Shows up and takes them as far as he can on the front end every single time.

2. Rock Fall – His latest win at Belmont showed that he’s fast and also very determined.

3. Runhappy – All I can say is WOW!!  Has a huge chance to win the Breeders Cup Sprint and be ranked number one by years end.

4. Wild Dude – When he runs his best race he’s pretty much unbeatable.

5. Secret Circle – Happy retirement to a horse that tried every single time.

Sleeper: Work All Week – Don’t sleep on him…his race in the Phoenix is better than you might think.

2 Year Old Males

1. Nyquist – Remained undefeated, but it was tougher than we thought it would be in the Frontrunner.

2. Exaggerator – He finished second in the Breeders Futurity, but showed some greenness in that race.  Still on target.

3. Ralis – I’m not going to overreact to that poor performance in the slop at Belmont.  He definitely hated the wet track.

4. Greenpointcrusader – Winner of the Champagne Stakes at Belmont looked like a horse ready to go longer.  Exciting prospect.

5. Brody’s Cause – Very impressive run in the Breeders Futurity to pick up the win, and could really jump up these rankings with an effort like that in the Breeders Cup.

Sleeper: Swipe – Not ready to crown him as the second coming like some, but he’s worth keeping your eye on.

2 Year Old Females

1. Songbird – Dominating performance in the Chandelier at Santa Anita has me thinking she might be the best 2 year old…period.

2. Rachel’s Valentina – Rachel Alexandra’s little girl is the “feel good” story of the year so far as she is now a Grade 1 winner.

3. Tap To It – Close loss in the Spinaway to Rachel’s Valentina…more distance might help.

4. Gomo – Big win at Keeneland over a sloppy track giving Reddam Racing a prospect in both the male and female 2 year old ranks.

5. Dothraki Queen – Backed up her Pocahontas Stakes win with a nice second to Gomo at Keeneland.

Sleeper: Nickname – Winner of the very sloppy Frizette Stakes at Belmont.
