Racing Dudes Breeders’ Cup Predictions #1

The time of year has come!  With Saratoga and Del Mar in our rear view mirrors its time to focus on the Breeders’ Cup which will be held this year at Santa Anita Park on November 4th and 5th.  The two day event is always the highlight of the racing season, and this year will be no exception.  Starting this week and running all the way up until the event itself we’ll have weekly predictions for every Breeders’ Cup race!  Here’s week 1:

The Classic – California Chrome

2016 Record: (4) 4-0-0

Trainer: Art Sherman

Jockey: Victor Espinoza

Analysis: It’s almost impossible to go against him at this point as he’s shown several times that he’s in a class by himself this year.  As long as he stays healthy he’ll be my pick with Arrogate coming in second.  At this point there aren’t any other horses I would consider, and I don’t see that changing.  Chrome winning the Classic on his home track would be quite a story!
